Terms & Conditions

1. Who runs MedMneme

MedMneme (medmneme.com) is an independent app run by its owner, who is based in Tamil Nadu, India. In these documents 'we' and 'us' mean MedMneme and its owner.

2. What MedMneme is

MedMneme is a self-study question bank for medical students and graduates. It presents multiple-choice questions with written explanations so you can test recall of material you have already studied.

3. Who can use it

MedMneme is intended for medical students and graduates aged 18 or over. If you are under 18, you may use it only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf.

4. Not affiliated

MedMneme is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any university, college, medical council, examination board or licensing authority. No question in the app is an official or past paper of any examination body, and no result in the app predicts or guarantees performance in any real examination.

5. Educational use only, not clinical advice

The content is for education and revision. It is not medical advice and must not be used to diagnose, treat or manage any patient, including yourself. Clinical decisions remain entirely your professional responsibility, guided by current authoritative sources, local protocols and your own judgement.

6. Accuracy

Content is prepared from standard references and reviewed, but errors, omissions and outdated material are possible, and medicine and guidelines change. The app is provided on an 'as is' basis without any warranty that it is complete, current or error-free. Verify anything that matters against a current authoritative source before relying on it. You can report a suspected error from any question or by email.

7. Your account

You may use the app as a guest or with an account. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account, and an account is for one person only. You can delete your account at any time as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Our content and acceptable use

All questions, explanations, clinical cases, text, design, logos and software in MedMneme belong to us and are protected by copyright. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial licence to use them for your own study. You must not copy or extract the question bank in bulk, scrape or download it by automated means, reverse engineer the app, resell, redistribute or republish the content, share your account, or use the content to build a competing product. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

9. Free and paid features

Core study features are free. If paid subscriptions are offered, the price and what is included will be shown before you buy. Purchases made through Google Play or the App Store are billed, renewed, cancelled and refunded by that store under its own terms, and subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your store account.

10. Availability and changes

Features, content and these terms may change as the app develops. Material changes to these terms will be shown to you in the app for acceptance. The app may be unavailable at times, and no particular level of availability is promised.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the app, including examination outcomes, or any clinical decision taken in reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under the consumer law of the country where you live.

12. Copyright concerns

If you believe any content in MedMneme infringes your copyright, email us with details of the work and where it appears, and we will review it promptly and remove infringing material.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Tamil Nadu having jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any mandatory protections you have where you live.

14. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected]. The current version is always available at medmneme.com/terms.html.
